Dr. David R. Williams
Dr. David R. Williams, a third-generation native of Pensacola, obtained his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Florida and his dental degree from Emory University School of Dentistry. After accepting a commission in the United States Navy, he completed a General Practice Residency at the Naval Hospital in San Diego, California. He then pursued postgraduate work at the University of Missouri-Kansas City, where he completed his periodontal training and earned a Master of Science degree in Oral Biology. In 1995, Dr. Williams achieved board certification and became a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology.
Dr. Williams is a past president and member of the Escarosa Dental Society and was honored with the 2008-2009 Dentist of the Year award. He serves as the director of the Greater Pensacola Study Club, affiliated with the Seattle Study Club (SSC), an organization committed to excellence in patient care and the highest level of dental knowledge. The SSC network includes over 220 Study Clubs worldwide, where members meet monthly to stay updated on the latest advancements in technology and treatment. Through this collaboration, doctors share new techniques, discuss complex cases, and ensure their patients benefit from the collective expertise of a team of knowledgeable clinicians in the community.
